These marvelous candlesticks are made from top notch lacquered brass. The columns are done in the Greek doric style, which is most easily recognized by circular capital at the top of the column and its fluted shaft. The doric order was one of the three types of columns that were used by ancient Greeks and Roman's. These candleholders would look great on a dining table or on fireplace mantel. Very good condition with light wear to finish and patina.
