Elegant and timeless, this 1970s vintage bombe-form chest of drawers was crafted by the esteemed John Widdicomb Company and designed by Ralph H. Widdicombe. Inspired by classic French Provincial Louis XV aesthetics, the piece features a rich cherry wood construction with a lustrous finish that highlights the natural grain. Its distinctive serpentine front and curvaceous bombe silhouette are complemented by ornate floral brass hardware and delicately carved cabriole legs.
The chest offers three spacious dovetail drawers, each smoothly operating and beautifully crafted inside and out. Signature details include paneled sides with molded accents, scalloped apron, and floral backplates on the drawer pulls, all contributing to its refined European charm.
