Its elongated and narrow form, measuring over 8.5 feet in length, makes it ideal as a console, writing table, or narrow dining table.
Supported by boldly carved, scrolled ox yoke legs in the Baroque style, the trestle base is joined by a hand-forged iron stretcher with elegant scrolling motifs. Additional forged iron braces at each end enhance both structural integrity and visual impact. The walnut surface retains a warm, rich patina with visible tool marks, age splits, and characterful wear consistent with its antique provenance.
A rare and versatile piece offering architectural presence and functional elegance for a hallway, study, or dining space. Excellent condition commensurate with age and use.
