Charming ornate vanity stool, ottoman, pouf, by the Heywood Brothers Company circa 1880/1920's. This exceptional diminutive stool, features a round top, with a stick and ball skirt, mounted on four ball decorated wicker wrapped legs. This example is structurally sound and sturdy, it is in very good, original condition, the lower skirt element is missing a couple of the small ball decorations, please see images.
Heywood Brothers was the predecessor to the iconic Heywood Wakefield Company, and was in existence prior to the merger.
