Offered is a vintage handwoven Guatemalan textile in brightly colored stripes with numerous joint bands of their jaspe ikat detail. The solid bright colors appear to be a soft wool, and the Jaspe Ikat bands are a thick cotton. We have a series of these and will be posting more soon. Our mother purchased these in the 1980s in Guatemala over numerous visits. She could not resist visiting small villages where artisans produced these pieces. Stay tuned as we post more.
