Offered is a stylish Japanese lacquer botanical themed tray made by Toyo in the 1960s. The base is a deep burnt red and the design features a resin coral appliqué of nasturtium or lily pad leaves, a hummingbird, and Mount Fuji and Cherry Blossom trees in the distance. The flat rim is a gold leaf lacquer, and the undersurface is a black phenolic resin or melamine. Perfect for a bar or console, or a dresser or a guest bathroom. The original label sticker is on bottom, as well as a sticker stating "alcohol proof".
