B.N. Films, 1937. French poster, linen-backed. This poster is for the French release of the movie. Poster illustrator Jacques Bonneaud perfectly captures the mystery and eccentricity of Erich von Stroheim in the poster art for L'alibi, director Pierre Chenal's story of love and murder.

HISTORY
Jacques Bonneaud is a French movie poster artist, graduate of the Beaux-Arts de Paris. He is a specialist of lithographie technique, and has created more than 2000 film posters from 1920's to 1950's.
