The neck has one small convex ringlet at the middle. Both the body and neck are covered with finely drawn and detailed, red and white, frolicking plovers on a flowering, branching, pomegranate tree with butterflies on the neck flange and a scholar's rock near the foot, all in a slight bas-relief. A six character, blue, Kangxi, reign mark within double blue ringlets is glazed to the inset base. The finely carved, traditional, Chinese, hongmu, circular stand is included. Circa Republic of China era, no later than mid century.
