Printed by Brownie's Blockprints on handmade paper with colored silk fibers. Senders name printed inside, Rear Admiral Raby (James J. Raby 1874-1934) and Mrs. Raby, addressed to Mr. & Mrs. Abel B. Pierce Blessing Texas. During World War I, Rear Admiral Raby took out the first merchant convoy under American escort. The 1930's was known for its beautiful handmade and artist produced greeting cards. See less
