Antique porcelain Meissen figurine of peasant couple at harvest, finely hand painted in polychrome and glazed with gold trim at rim of base. Very fine depiction of young Harvest couple, she is holding a sickle and wheat in hand. Good condition, but as is. He should be holding flowers behind his back, but they are missing. Also showing some light fleabite chips in painted tips of wheat, as photographed. First choice, hallmarks at base showing blue double sword underglaze and impressed number 148, along with P164 and other faint writing. Painter no. 33, Jean Baptiste Gustave Deloy (1838 - 1898).
