While illuminated song book pages from the … Read more We are selling this framed early probably Florentine 15th century Italian book page. While illuminated song book pages from the Medieval and Renaissance periods are fairly common this particular page is of quite high quality. The page is embellished with well decorated large red and blue ink decoration on the vellum which really makes this page stand out. Furthermore the page is framed in a very nice Italian gilt carved wood frame with the label from the estate labeling it as a Florentine 15th century as well as some family history written in pencil and an auction label.

Condition: Some wear to the ink and discoloration to the vellum as to be expected on a 15th century piece. Some wear to the gilding on the frame.
