Fresh from a fine Westchester New York estate, we have a pleasure to offer you this gorgeous Large Antique French … Read more Fresh from a fine Westchester New York estate, we have a pleasure to offer you this gorgeous Large Antique French 19th C Hand Painted Porcelain SEVRES Vase / Urn converted to LAMP. Awesome decoration, great contrast of light blue / celeste blue (porcelain) & gold colors. Featured is a gentle courting scene of young man and woman on one side, and a pair of exotic birds on the other side. Standing on a superb quality bronze base, matching the mounts on the top, and gorgeous handles. Lamp is in very good condition, showing light age / use wear (please see photos). This beauty was made in late 19th century, and converted to the lamp in 20th century. Large and impressive size at 35" height overall to the top finial, bulb socket height is 27", it is 9" wide, 6" deep. If you would decide to convert it back to a vase, it would stand 17" tall. This will be a great collection addition, and classy decoration in any traditional or mid-century modern setting! See less
