The elegant pk22 armchair is an icon of poul kjærholm's work. It was inspired by the light of an elegant klismos chair created by the ancient greeks. With this piece, kjærholm reduced the chair to three elements: the legs, the seat, and the connecting clamps. Thanks to his disciplined approach, the cantilevered seat is stabilized by a double cross beam that is precisely positioned so that the body rests naturally. Soft and flexible, the pk22 has a minimalist aesthetic that pairs easily with a low sofa.
the pk22 chair is a chair designed by danish designer poul kjærholm in 1956. It is also known as the pk22 armchair.
the pk22 chair was originally manufactured by e. Kold christensen, a danish company specializing in the production of high-quality furniture designed by some of the greatest designers of the time, this piece has an attribution mark,
