The design project for the restaurant was headed by Eames’ family friend Alexander Girard.

This chair is an earlier model where the seating is made of fiberglass. The original upholstery has been removed previously, likely after wear or damage. Thus the seating still looks very good, having been protected by the upholstery. Base also in very good condition. An original early edition in very good condition.
