A Very Nice Antique Sheraton Walnut Drop Leaf Table, Shenandoah Valley Of VA
Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, 1830’s
Nicely turned walnut legs, unusual narrow size, and unusually long.
Very nice and sturdy table, unusual large size. Great for an open kitchen or a farm house.
Dovetailed drawer, with poplar and yellow pine secondary woods.
Size: 54” wide, 15 1/2” deep leaves down, each leaf measures, 18 1/2”. Fully opened the top measures 54” by 52 1/2”
Height measured at 27 3/4” tall
Condition: refinished. There is a strip of wood added into the top, most likely from an old shrinkage split. Typical use and wear marks, scuffs, dings from age and use. Small spot of finish loss on the top. See pictures for condition evaluation.
