The all brass Dresher trunk is in excellent vintage condition.
The construction, in comparison to other steamer trunks & footlockers, is as durable as this style of trunk gets.
The inside is very smooth cedar and bares no smells other than the faint scent of cedar.
All latches work smoothly as they should.
There is no key for it but I stuff a piece of duck tape in the locking mechanism so it doesn’t lock when I put the latch up.
A beautiful piece that will surely draw positive attention to your interior design scenario.
