They are … Read more These chairs were used as props in the WGN America Series Underground Season 2 (purchased at set auction). They are antiques in their original form with multiple signs of wear in the finish - the original "Shabby Chic". French inspired (actual origin unknown) lines, worn gilding over red primer, satin & chenille embroidered fabric with satin braided trim - all of the blemishes make them better. They are heavily distressed due to age and use, minor water stains on the upholstery, and misaligned springs in seat cushions. They are old, they have been used and we worried that any repairs/corrections would detract from their character. They still have the original horsehair stuffing. The backs do not have the same decorative fabric as the fronts. See less
