Art Nouveau "Julie" vase by Jacqueline Simon for Val Saint-Lambert. This beautiful, heavy (nearly 4 lbs) thick cameo glass vase showcases frosted glass with raised polished green glass in an art nouveau style of iris, stems and leaves. Illegible signature on base (see photo). Made in Belgium.
C. 1970
Founded in 1826, Val Saint-Lambert has been one of the premier glass makers of Europe. Still around today, VSL has been a supplier to royal families and is famous for its superb creations of "double colored cut" crystal.
