A gorgeous antique Wedgwood style cheese dome on its original stand
Darker blue jasperware, aka cobalt blue, with applied Neo-Classical decoration featuring scenes from the Ancient Greco-Roman Mythology, cherubs with musical instruments, flute, lyre etc. in Arcadian surroundings
Exquisite vine and berries garlands surround the top and the base, a rosette with intricate motifs embellishes the top
There are 4 holes for ventilation, one through the acorn shaped knob
It is unmarked, which is not uncommon for the lesser known producers of Wedgwood style jasperware from the period, such as Smuel Lear or James Dudson
