Exceptional coffee and dessert/breakfast set from the Lotus Azure (Lotus Blau) collection by Rosenthal China / Studio-Line. This pattern was designed by Bjørn Wiinblad circa, 1960s.
Each piece is decorated with a light cornflower blue overlapping lotus petal pattern against white porcelain. This remarkable set came from the original owner (purchased in Germany).
This complete set includes:
1 Cake Platter – 11”
1 Lidded 5-Cup Coffee Pot – 7.5”
1 Lidded Sugar Bowl – 4”
1 Creamer – 3”
12 footed cups – 2”
12 Saucers – 6”
12 Dessert Plates – 7.5”
Condition: This set is in excellent (near pristine) vintage condition. The pieces have been been displayed, but never used. The individual pieces have been wiped with a soft cloth, but have not been professionally cleaned. Each is marked on the underside, and the coffee pot also has the Bjørn Wiinblad signature.
