A deeper plate "plato" or a bowl "cuenco" with four attached handles aka "tortero", which eventually used to be hung on the wall
Very well elaborated with finely detailed floral and geometric decoration in relief, in the style typical of the turn of the 20th century Barrio de la Luz output
Glossy glaze in dark and lighter brown, imitating tortoise shell, "barro vidriado"
A very RARE find, it is virtually impossible to come by one in this condition nowadays, a museum piece.
Circa late 19th/early 20th century, Puebla, Mexico
Measurements: Approximately 13.5" handle to handle x 10.25" diameter (across) without handles x 4" high w. handle x 3" deep
