The lip, throat, interior and inset base have a sky blue glaze. Finely carved double red elephant head handles with gilt highlights flank two opposite sides. The yellow glazed, delicately curved neck starts with a gilt rim and is banded with floral medallions within stepped cartouches, circled above and below by smaller floral medallions drawn in a stylized Fu bat form, the yellow glazed corners of the top of the vase are decorated in ornate polychrome intertwining leafy vines, which are also repeated on the yellow glazed bottom of the vase. The foot is banded with floral medallions within stepped cartouches, circled above and below by smaller floral medallions. A four character blue and white Yongzheng reign mark within double blue circles is glazed to the deeply inset base. Circa early 20th century, no later than mid century. See less
