Fabulous pair of oversized vintage Portuguese planters that could also function as side tables with the addition of glass tops.
A four-piece grouping in heavy, blue and white ceramic. The trompe l’oeil conical top of textured basket-weave with twisted rope handles and edges. A separate, faceted octagonal base with framed and raised foliate adornment, supported by spherical bun feet.
Drainage holes present in all four pieces; could be easily sealed if water tightness is a concern.
Each piece is signed and dated Viúva Lamego 1988.
