A refined example of Victorian-era craftsmanship, this late 19th century horn cup is both utilitarian and commemorative.
Tapered in form and measuring 2.75 inches wide by 4.5 inches high, the cup features a warm natural horn body elegantly banded with sterling silver at the rim and base.
A shield-shaped silver cartouche engraved with the initials “J.C.” and dated “July 3rd, 1878” lends historical intrigue, suggesting it was likely a personal gift or presentation piece.
