A pair of rare German porcelain incense burners with romantic Watteau decorations, from the KPM Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur of Berlin, dating back to the second decade of the 19th century. These two objects, in the full Rococo style, consist of a contoured base supporting the oval burner with a central hole for the wick. Four scroll-shaped uprights support the essence container, shaped like a tureen with handles, and a perforated lid with a pine cone knob.

The porcelain has a white background with rich gold decorations and features two tableaus with painted, Watteau-style miniature scenes on the longer sides. Floral decorations are found on the wider sides, as well as on the lid, along with painted ladybugs. On the bottom, in blue, is the Berlin scepter mark from 1820-1830, along with the numbers 5 and 6.

In good condition, no chips, only minimal gilding and a restoration on one handle. This piece has an attribution mark,
