It Still Retains its Somewhat Obscured Original Printed Makers Label That my Research Was Able to Decipher and Confirm to Fully Read "The A.D. Makepeace Co. Wareham Massachusetts Patent March 17, 1903. My Research Also Found that The A.D. Makepeace Company Founded in 1854 is One of the World’s Largest Cranberry Growers as Well as The Largest Private Property Owner in Massachusetts. It is Constructed out of a Indigenous American Hardwood - Possibly Beech or Maple with Steel Brackets and Hollow Tin Rake Spikes - "Tines". The Top has a Black Painted Canvas. Cover. It Still Retains its Original Varnish Finish that has Developed a Wonderful Naturally Aged Color and Patina and Displays Very Nicely. It has a Couple Very Minor Imperfections to Canvas Top - See Listing Photographs. I Purchased this Piece on one of my Recent Picking Adventures in the Northern Cape Cod - New Bedford Massachusetts Region. Cape Cod - Also known as the Cranberry Capital USA where they are and have been Abundantly Grown and Harvested for Many Years.
