A wonderful pair of nicely carved French Regency style arm chairs. The chairs are upholstered in a navy blue silk (sun faded) fabric and have oval tufted backs. The carvings have been very well done and a verdigris pigment has been skillfully applied by the maker. While they are absolutely delightful as is, they could probably use a re-upholstering due to the fading. There are no visible markings/labels on the chairs. Note that the seat cushions are removable.
