Add a finishing touch of quality hardware to your door with this exceptional American cast bronze door knob produced by Branford in the late 1870s. This beautiful ornamental passage knob is decorated with palmette motifs and a center rosette. The knob is highlighted with its matching bronze rosette. This set is very characteristic of quality craftsmanship during the Aesthetic Movement and would make a most desirable piece for the discerning decorator or avid hardware collector.
The knob and rosette are in very good antique condition with a nice mellow patina. The surfaces show normal wear from age and use.
