An ultra rare antique circa early 1900s silver plated claw foot tub soap/sponge holder from the Parker House Hotel in Boston! Excellent condition, no dents or damage. It has polished up beautifully! Marked on the back with the hotel name along with Reed and Barton marks.
Measures 6” tall by 4.5” wide, The soap/sponge tray is 3.5 inches deep and the hook that goes over the lip of the tub is also about 3.5 inches deep. I tested this on three different clawfoot tubs of varying sizes/shapes in our home, it fits all of them beautifully so this should fit any modern or antique cast-iron or antique-style tub.
