A classic modernist design floor lamp in the style of Sonneman or Kovaks (possibly Italian) with Carrara marble base and elegant chrome stem. Likely that the base was originally just the square piece of marble and that the larger marble plinth was added for additional stability. You can decide to keep as is or remove the extra piece.
Lampshade shown (not included) is 10” tall and 14” wide.
