French 1940s Nickel-Plated Floor Lamp
An exceptional example of mid-century French design, this 1940s floor lamp is composed of finely turned brass elements mounted on a stepped hexagonal base. The slender stem has been recently nickel-plated, enhancing its elegant form and subtle architectural detail.
Professionally rewired for modern use, the lamp features a high-quality double socket with ball chain pulls and a silk-wrapped cord—offering both functionality and aesthetic refinement. Standing 67 inches tall with an 8-inch hexagonal base, it is well-proportioned and visually striking.
