In its refreshing new look, this vanity or writing table might appeal to a range of tastes from Directoire to Dorothy Draper. The top surface extends over the apron with a smooth, matte finish and a few areas of patina (loss of pigment), offering a blank canvas for personalization to one’s needs. At the front of the desk, the small pen drawer is outlined in black, a theme continued throughout the swells of the apron down to the graceful curves of the cabriole legs.
