These are pretty much the best looking and most decorative wingback armchairs and stools I have seen in a long time, the Cabriolet legs are ornately carved and look to be very well executed, the footstools have flat sections in the middle for you to rest a glass of wine or cup of tea on Colour wise they are super unique, these are the only chairs in the entire world with this exact colour finish, they are a Bordeaux which is quite appropriate for those of us that like a good red of an evening! The whole suite has been fully restored to include having them washed back to the plain leather, then hand dyed six times this wonderful deep rich reddish brown colour, they have then been sealed and waxed down and polished, the timber has been lightly French polished, all in all you have an exquisite suite
