The rich emerald-green glaze is full of depth, with beautiful tonal variation and a fine crackle finish. The delicate network of surface lines, known as craquelure, adds texture and enhances the piece’s vintage character. A crisp white glaze finishes the interior, and the base features a six-character Kangxi reign mark honoring the celebrated Qing Dynasty emperor (1661–1722). Though likely a 20th-century decorative piece made in China, it pays graceful tribute to centuries-old porcelain tradition.
