A monoprint with watercolor by the American artist David Allen Dunlop (born 1951). Titled "Sighs, Venice," this colorful print depicts the iconic Bridge of Sighs in Venice, Italy. Unframed, the print is signed, titled, and marked "Monoprint/watercolor" to the lower edge.
Dunlop received his MFA from the Pratt Institute in New York and has been a member of the faculty at the Silvermine School of Art in New Canaan, Connecticut. He has won a Daytime Emmy for his as host and writer for the PBS show "Landscapes Through Time with David Dunlop." Dunlop has also lectured at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, as well as other art museums in the United States.
