The rug was hand knotted in Turkey of wool in rose pink, taupe, brown and ivory with a traditional motif. Sirvan rugs are traditionally woven by indigenous people in the South Caucasus, specifically in the Shirvan region, which is now part of present-day Azerbaijan. Light surface wear; fringe is damaged; condition is fair for age and use. See less
