The piece is made from solid wood (I … Read more Here is a stunning Jardiniere/Fernerie designed in the Traditional, Traditional Regency style. The piece is made from solid wood (I believe mahogany) with gorgeous carved details and figures. On the bottom, you will see a tripod base with three lions holding up the planter. They wonderful carved mane details and sit on a flat base, with carved edge. The three raised feet are actually carved mice! Yes, you would have to look closely but still, it is so cute! And the fable has such a poignant message, translated into decor - these three tiny creatures hold up the entire piece. At the top, is a reticulated, slatted planter with trumpet shape. It's perfect for showcasing a plant or for blankets, towels, etc. You could even add a glass top and use it as a table or pedestal.
