Rosewood Gentleman's Chest or Highboy circa 1950. This case is wrapped in an amazing rosewood veneer that has exceptional color and grain patterns. Rosewood is a protected species so this piece may be difficult to transport internationally.
The left side of the case has 7 drawers down the front. The right side has an additional 7 drawers behind 2 cabinet doors. The back of the case is finished as well (although there is a westnofa tag in one corner.). This is an exceptional piece of furniture.
There is some crazing to the finish and some light scratches to the top of the case. There are a few white scuffs to the black pedestal base, but otherwise the piece is stunning and ready for placement.
