This vintage silver plate over copper tray has a wonderful soft patina that only vintage and antique pieces can have. Made in England by Sheffield, this plateau or footed tray was made by a method called “Gnun” as labeled on the bottom.
The round tray is heavily detailed with engraving in the middle and shells and scrolls on the edge. The feet are shaped like shells.
This piece is heavy and will be perfect displayed or put to use.
