Having a most unusual ( not the common square or rectangular form ) shape with ridged design in a sea shell composition. Richly decorated with a lovers courting scene in the lush gardens with a profusion of raised applied 24k gold stylized surface application. Artist signed top lower right on the flip top lid cover with the iconic sevres mark underneath. Note the highest level category of this heirloom that even the interior is handpainted with enamel floral bouquets. In clean pristine brilliant condition ( looks to have always been on display in a french vitrine cabinet) with correct weight acquired from a New York gold coast Long Island estate with royal vienna kpm plaque meissen porcelain and linke french furniture.
