The glass designs were inspired by the styles of the 1920s and 1930s, but also by the New Objectivity of the Bauhaus movement. Therefore, many Gral-Glas products are found in museums and collections.[2] In 1939, a branch was established in the Bohemian Forest. The outbreak of World War II prevented the start of production, but Karl Seyfang was able to obtain raw glass from other glassworks in the Bohemian Forest during the war.
