Dario Frare was born in Murano in 1977 to Giuliano Frare, a Master glass-blower.
As many children from the Venetian Island, Dario soon got fascinated by his father’s skills and started helping him with simple objects made using the lamp-working technique.
He attended the Art Institute in Venice with a degree in Glass.
Over the years, Dario specialized in marine subjects and human figurines, focusing on accurate reproductions of reality. He also collaborated with several Masters on special projects, an experience that has allowed him to grow as an Artist and to improve his execution skills.
Nowadays Maestro Frare is recognized as a talented interpreter of Murano tradition and his artworks are entering prestigious private collections and Museums all over the world. See less
