Sunny Yellow with Green Trim. Really delightful details: dolphin shaped salt cellars, soup bowl lids with handles, lovely scalloped edges.
Provenance:
Formerly belonging to Marjorie Merriweather Post for entertaining at her Mar-A-Lago estate. These settings were purchased from Sotheby's between 2005 - 2010. (There were several large sets auctioned separately). The whispers of a bygone era with the noted celebrities and elite personages Ms. Post entertained there throughout the 30s, 40s, 50s, and 60s included the upper echelon of New York, Washington, and Palm Beach society.
