Magazine cover art … Read more This is a matted vintage 1961 ski sport print that originally appeared as a French periodical cover. Magazine cover art is highly desirable and collectible and has become more difficult to find in excellent condition with the passage of time as it is susceptible to rips, stains, and other age markngs. This one is in clean excellent condition. It is illustrated by Paul Ordner whose dramatic sport posters are highly valued at art auctions. His images are strong and detailed, and show the emotion of an athlete in action. The print is signed by Ordner in lower left. Original to 1961 and NOT a recent reproduction. It is 6 3/4 x 8 1/4 inches in size. Comes custom matted in a neutral tone 16 x 20 inch mat that works perfectly in a standard size frame. This image is a perfect gift for the ski enthusiast.
