Fabulous Japanese-inspired handwoven wool tapestry, signed “BN” at the lower right. This bold textile blends graphic, hard-edge precision with painterly color, featuring a muted, woven, ivory and black field punctuated by lavender, merlot, peach, teal, and violet. The composition is both modern and meditative, evoking the rhythm and restraint of Japanese design while offering a rich visual abstracted composition.
All wool construction with natural cotton fringe at both top and bottom. Cleaned in June 2025 and in wonderful vintage condition, ready to hang on four, solid wood clips (included). A strong candidate for anchoring a large-scale wall or introducing warmth and movement to a minimalist interior.
A striking, one-of-a-kind textile artwork.
