Each bird is modeled in relief and painted in bright shades of green, yellow, and cobalt blue, with expressive black accents that highlight their plumage and faces. The base is glazed in a soft celadon green with applied vines and stylized red flowers climbing the stumps. The reverse mirrors the sculptural design with full detail and coloration on both sides. The piece is stamped "Made in Japan" with a red circular mark beneath. See less
