This lovely old jug, impressive in both size and style, was part of the Loyd-Paxton Works of Art collection of Dallas, TX.

Loyd Taylor and Paxton Gremillion formed both a loving personal and a business partnership around 1960. Inseparable over the next six decades, together they maintained a warehouse and showroom filled with curated antiques and precious interior décor from all corners of the globe, as they also built a following as interior designers to the upper-crust. Their talents and inventory drew folks from around the world, frequented even by the likes of Sir Elton John and the Sultan of Brunei.

Paxton died in 2014, and Loyd continued to serve the industry he loved until his passing in 2024.
