Offered is a set of 2 1950s hand-carved wooden Chinoiserie framed sculptural panels. The birds and botanicals are carved from a Teak wood. The artistry is displayed on panels of Rosewood. They have a thick woven raffia matting with a gilded wood piping accent.
Each panel is framed in a Walnut wood and has a brass exposed Chinoiserie hanging fixture. We purchased these in this condition more for the frames. Whether to use with the existing matting and replace the carved art work with a vintage mirror, or separating the art from the frames to hang your own long-paneled art, these are a tasteful touch of sleek Oriental mid 20th Century design.
They measure 9.75" wide, 35.75" long, .875" deep
