Cantagalli Iznik Style Pottery Footed Bowl.
Late 19th Century after the influence of his
friendship with William De Morgan.
13 7/8" diameter. 9 5/8" height.
7 1/4" diameter base.
Painted underglaze Cantagalli Cockerel
mark on underside.
Rare superb piece. High level of beauty
hand painted and best of type.
Last 3 pictures of ones sold at Christie's
& Sotheby's with the hammer prices
in 12 3/4"...10" and 16" sizes.

Glaze nicks on rim and two flakes
of paint on side.
