Classic Mid-Century 8 light glass and chrome Chandelier by Italian designer Oscar Torlasco. Made in Italy circa 1960s.
Known for his lamps that diffuse soft light through optical glass lenses, the Roman designer Oscar Torlasco (1934 - 2004) established himself in the '50s and '60s designing for several Italian companies specializing in lighting, such as Esperia, Stilux, Stilkronen. Oscar Torlasco won the Italian design award, the “Compasso d’Oro” (Golden Compass) for his Genova 4053 street lighting in 1959.
